November 4

11/4 - On this election eve, Americans are anxious. According to an American Psychological Assoc. survey, 77% of adults feel stress over the future of the country; 75% think the election could spur violence; half worry about “the end of democracy.” According to a Sept survey from the Univ of Chicago’s Project on Security and Threats: 134M U.S. adults (51.5%) think Trump is a danger to democracy; 85M (32.6%) say the same of Harris; 49M (18.8%) believe the 2020 election was stolen; 28M (10.8%) say violence is justified to prevent a Trump presidency; 15M (5.8%) believe in violence to prevent Harris. We live in times that call for restraint. Too many have allowed themselves to be consumed by misconceptions and lies. You can still “lead” by your responsible behavior with family, friends, and social media. We must not sacrifice our core decency, nor our basic common sense, on any political party’s alter. Now go vote tomorrow!
