David Weaber

David Weaber joined American AgCredit in July 2022 as Sr Research Analyst - Animal Protein Economist. He provides Farm Credit System partners, bank clients, and prospects with analysis and insights into the animal supply chain.  

Prior to joining American AgCredit, he was Vice-President at Express Markets, Inc. where he assisted their varied clients with analysis in the meat supply chain sector and managed the EMI staff.  Before his role at Express Markets, he was an economist leading the market insights team in the strategic sourcing and supply chain analytics group of Delhaize America.  Earlier, he was Director of Market Analysis at Swift & Co., and worked as Director of Research and Special Projects at Cattle-Fax.

He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal science from Colorado State University.
